Radiology (X-Rays)

Radiology, or X-Ray, is a very valuable diagnostic tool. As a means to providing your pets with the highest quality care, we are proud to offer high-quality digital X-Rays. Radiographs allow us the opportunity to examine your pet’s internal organs and even their bones. Taking these films is a very non-invasive and safe procedure.

The benefit of our digital technology also lies in the ability to easily send the images to other practices, board-certified radiologists, and even to you! The time it takes to share these images is as short as the time it takes to send and receive an email. This means we get answers faster and get your pet feeling better sooner.

Ultrasound

X-Ray imaging can be used to diagnose a variety of health concerns in your pet, but we may recommend additional imagery depending on what is shown on preliminary images. This can include an ultrasound or echocardiogram with a board-certified veterinary radiologist who will come see your pet in our clinic on an appointment basis. These ultrasounds can provide much more information, including detecting specific heart conditions, showing organ enlargement and confirming the inflammatory disease.
